U.S. Update
God gave us a great trip back to the U.S. on Nov. 5th. We flew in to Charlotte, N.C. for a visit with Michael's Dad. Next we spent time with Kellie's cousin's family in Huntsville, A.L. This Thanksgiving week, we're in Fayetteville, GA with Kellie's parents and Michael old stomping grounds. We look forward to seeing more family and friends in the coming weeks! We are so looking forward to the Thanksgiving holiday and all of that home-cooked traditional food!
We're all doing well. Missing our buddies in Kenya, but excited about the future God has planned for us. Thank you to all who have been faithfully praying for us. We haven't forgotten about Kenya - the kids at the home are doing well and finishing the school year this week. Please be praying especially for Hillary as he takes his high-school entrance exam. We're missing the kids dearly.

Christina is thoroughly enjoying a visit from her good friend, Layna. |
God provided new school shoes and socks for all 17 of the kids at the children's home! Thank you to the sponsors who contributed towards that need. |
The newest addition to the children's home is Nafula the cow! Thank you Morningview Baptist for the gift to the children, of their very own cow. She's already providing about 10 liters of milk a day! |
Coming Home to the U.S.!
NEWS ALERT
Our family is preparing to return to the U.S. on November 5th to spend the holidays with family and friends. At this point, we don't know when or if God will lead us to return to Kenya. We'll be praying diligently to discern what the Lord would have us do next.
We appreciate all of you that have supported us through prayer, notes of encouragement, care packages, and financial contributions, as well as our 37 visitors who came and served along with us. God has blessed us tremendously through you! Thank you so much for lifting us up before the Father. We want to give Him praise for being faithful to us during this past year in Kenya! We eagerly await to see where He calls us as we seek to glorify Him in all we do. We hope you will continue to pray for us during this time of transition.
Effective immediately, we will no longer be receiving financial donations through the GOGCP.
We will continue to post here on the blog until we leave Kenya. Afterwards, we would love to keep in touch via Facebook or e-mail.

Visit to a Handicapped Childrens Home
On Saturday, we were privaliged to be able to visit with 35 children at the Kipiana home for physically disabled children. The children mostly have problems with their legs and spines and half of them are bound to wheelchairs. Despite their physical challenges, the children have a bright and positive attitude towards life and they are being taken care of very well by a very small team of people who have dedicated themselves their welfare.
