Baptism Day

What a great time on the Lord's day!  We've celebrated our final Sunday here at the children's home by baptising the 22 children who this year have chosen to follow Christ.  The Kaptagat River will forever be remembered!  Thank you Jesus for providing us our salvation!

Recent Praises!

Christina is thoroughly enjoying a visit
from her good friend, Layna.

God provided new school shoes and socks for all 17
of the kids at the children's home!  Thank you to the sponsors
who contributed towards that need.

The newest addition to the children's home is Nafula the cow!  Thank
you Morningview Baptist for the gift to the children, of their very own cow.
She's already providing about 10 liters of milk a day!

Books!  Thank you Falling Branch Elementary for donating
approximately 2,000 books to the children's home!  The kids are
SO excited to have something to read.  This is one of two
bookshelves full of great books.
Abigail enjoys a shopping trip with Mrs. Jill, Layna's Mom.
She named her new doll MacKenzie, after her cousin.  We're all
so blessed that the Webbs have come to Kenya to visit and serve
alongside us this week.  Thank you Chris, Jill, Layna, and Grace for your
sacrifice!  Your visit couldn't have been more perfectly timed.
God is good.

Coming Home to the U.S.!

 NEWS ALERT

Our family is preparing to return to the U.S. on November 5th to spend the holidays with family and friends.  At this point, we don't know when or if God will lead us to return to Kenya.  We'll be praying diligently to discern what the Lord would have us do next.

We appreciate all of you that have supported us through prayer, notes of encouragement, care packages, and financial contributions, as well as our 37 visitors who came and served along with us.  God has blessed us tremendously through you!  Thank you so much for lifting us up before the Father.  We want to give Him praise for being faithful to us during this past year in Kenya!  We  eagerly await to see where He calls us as we seek to glorify Him in all we do.  We hope you will continue to pray for us during this time of transition.

Effective immediately, we will no longer be receiving financial donations through the GOGCP.
We will continue to post here on the blog until we leave Kenya.  Afterwards, we would love to keep in touch via Facebook or e-mail.

In His hands,

Visit to a Handicapped Childrens Home

On Saturday, we were privaliged to be able to visit with 35 children at the Kipiana home for physically disabled children. The children mostly have problems with their legs and spines and half of them are bound to wheelchairs. Despite their physical challenges, the children have a bright and positive attitude towards life and they are being taken care of very well by a very small team of people who have dedicated themselves their welfare.
