Scores burn to death in Kenya gas fire

Monday Sept 12th - "A leaking gasoline pipeline in Kenya's capital exploded on Monday, turning part of a slum into an inferno in which at least 75 people were killed and more than 100 hurt." 

Why does God allow bad things to happen if he loves us?  Deuteronomy 29:29 "The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us"
